Frequently Asked Questions - E-mail Services

1. POP3 mail server settings
Your POP mail server setting will be your domain.
For example: if you're e-mail address is: info@yourdomain.com, then you're POP server is: mail.yourdomain.com
2. E-mail forwarding
E-mail forwarding refers to actually forwarding your e-mail to an existing POP account outside of your domain.
For example: webmaster@yourdomain.com can be forwarded to youraccount@yourisp.com
3. E-mail aliasing
E-mail aliasing refers to redirecting multiple e-mail addresses to one of your POP accounts.
For example: sales@yourdomain.com and info@yourdomain.com can both be checked at webmaster@yourdomain.com
This feature enables you to offer many different e-mail addresses yet maintain incoming mail through a single account.
4. Form e-mail CGI script

The FormMail script is a script created by Matt Wright, that will e-mail the contents of any form to an e-mail address you specify. The quickest way to get started is to insert the following code into your script:

<form action="/cgi-bin/FormMail.pl" method="POST">
<input type="hidden" name="recipient" value="yourname@yourname.com">
<input type="hidden" name="subject" value="Put your e-mail Subject Here">....
....</form>

5. About our no tolerance SPAM policy
US Net strictly prohibits all types of SPAM.   This includes harassment, whether through language, frequency, or size of messages.   Forging of header information is also not permitted.  US Net does not allow unsolicited mail.   This includes "spamming" and "bulk mail" sent to persons who have otherwise not requested to receive such mail.
